On 19th January 2012 Harouge Oil Operations’ Naga field has returned to its 8,000 barrels per day (bpd) production, which was shipped from the port of Sidra. The oil production at Naga brought the overall daily production at Harouge Oil Operation to 81,000 bpd, of which 90% is routed through the Ras Lanuf terminal facilities. The Ras Lanuf oil terminal and port facilities offer oil repository and shipping services to NOC ,Wintershall, OMV, OXY,and Petro-Canada. |

HE Minister of Oil and Gas, Mr. Abdul Rahman Binyeaza visited on Friday, 09/12/2011 the fields of Messla and sareir which belonging to the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), he was accompanied by Mr. Omar Alshukmak Deputy Minister and Mr. Mustafa Sana-Allah the acting chairman of the National Oil Corporation and Mr. Abul Qasim Shingeer General Manager, Exploration and Production department of NOC and Chairman, members of the Management Committee and the managers of departments of AGOCO . The first visited was to Messla oil field which was affected by the destruction and devastation twice during the months of April and June, where the company by the effort of its employees put the field on operation and reached the production of 75 thousand barrels per day out of 100 thousand barrels, the maximum production of the field . |

HE Minister of Oil and Gas, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Yeaza met on Thursday, 08/12/2011 the British ambassador in Libya and the delegation accompanying him. Attended the meeting Mr. Omar Alshukmak ,the Deputy Minister and Mr. Salah Ben Ali, Manager of the Office of International Cooperation and the Energy Information. . The meeting addressed a number of topics related to the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the petroleum industry and ways to strengthen and develop this cooperation, particularly the investment in exploration and production. |

In order to restart the company's facilities as required to restore production , the Board of Directors accompanied by some heads of departments of Harouge Oil Operations company visited the port of Ras lanuf to see the status of port facilities and to identify the damage resulting from the bombing . . The Board also visited the Ghani oil field to check the status of field production facilities and to identify the damage, also to consult with the officials and field staff on how to speed up the rehabilitation of what was ruined to ensure the operation and return to normal production.
