HE Minister of Oil and Gas, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Yeaza met on Thursday, 08/12/2011 the British ambassador in Libya and the delegation accompanying him.

Attended the meeting Mr. Omar Alshukmak ,the Deputy Minister and Mr. Salah Ben Ali, Manager of the Office of International Cooperation and the Energy Information.

The meeting addressed a number of topics related to the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the petroleum industry and ways to strengthen and develop this cooperation, particularly the investment in exploration and production.

In order to restart the company's facilities as required to restore production , the Board of Directors accompanied by some heads of departments of Harouge Oil Operations company visited the port of Ras lanuf to see the status of port facilities and to identify the damage resulting from the bombing .

The Board also visited the Ghani oil field to check the status of field production facilities and to identify the damage, also to consult with the officials and field staff on how to speed up the rehabilitation of what was ruined to ensure the operation and return to normal production.

Dr. Nouri Balrwin Chairman of NOC met in his office on Sunday, 27/11/2011 the Ambassador of Norway in Libya and the delegation accompanying him.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Almekdmai, Mr. Mustafa Abdullah Sanallah members of the Board and Mr. Abul Qasim Shinghir general manager of exploration and production, Mr. Salah Ben Ali, Manager of the Office of International Cooperation and the Energy Information .

At the meeting the two parties discussed a number of issues concerning the oil and gas, where the Norwegian ambassador expressed the desire of Norwegian companies return to Libya to resume its activities in the areas of exploration and petrochemical industries.
